I current own several single family and a 4-plex, and land in diferent areas in TX and NM. Several of these were bought using creative methods - like buying the 4-plex for $26 out of my pocket.
I like to buy 40+ year old houses in high demand areas and do major updates while keeping a lot of the original character. Here is a before and after picture of one house.
I'm working on a commercial building now and getting estimates for what I want to do with it.
